Day 38 (13th Jan 2016) It has been 1 month since I have landed in South Africa and it has just gone in a blink of an eye. The hardest thing for me is relishing that all the things I have dreamt of for hours and the people I have wanted to see for so long have all come and gone in my life and I am here having the best time ever but now I am left with beautiful memories. But if I could just go back and relive these insane memories over and over I would have one last glimpse of the people I may never see again.
Ok enough of the sad talk and onto today. The day began by being woken up by Nicole quietly tapping on the blinds to my room asking if I was awake. It was a beautiful day and it was the perfect opportunity to head down to the beach for breakfast. We arrived at the waterfront with the sun still beaming and the sky blue as the water below. Breakfast was amazing with being out in fresh air getting to sit peacefully and discuss old memories.
Shannon dropped me and Nicole home to get ready for round two of the beach and make lunch before we head out again to go swimming. The sun is still deadly hot, so it doesn’t take long before we are in the water diving through waves. Shannon brings these two little girls, that she is au pairing for a day, out in the sun to have some fun as its their first day back at school. After the beach we decide on some ice cream and head to a place called .... got chocolate hazelnut which was just divine and tasted like a Ferrero Roche.
Back home we all watched a bit of one tree hill series which I am now getting into before heading to bed after a full day out.
