+ Travel in a world of adventures
Read my full day to day blog of my first big overseas solo trip.
Day 25 ( 30th Dec ) My day began with waking up, going for an early morning swim and then all of the B-family and me headed over to Durban beach front where we had breakfast at their favourite place which is a little cafe on the walkway just opposite to the Stadium. We all had toasties which ended up being our late breakfast and lunch.
After finishing up we took a stroll down the beachfront where there was a massive walkway with longboarders, skateboarders, runners, walkers and families all strolling down the same walkway. It was now about 12:30 so we headed back towards town and decided on movies to watch - Point Break - and keep out of the sun for a few hours.
After today I have come to the terms that yes times have changed. Sarah and myself are now both woman and not just little girls - but our friendship will always be there. And although words don’t need to be said - her just being here and us spending time together means the world to me, as I have learnt on my travels so far that time means everything. One of my worst fears is not doing enough with my time I have left on this earth. I want to cherish every moment and live life to the absolute fullest, so that I can look back and know I put my all into seeing and experiencing the world in which my God gave me to live in.
