Day 87 (2nd March 2016 ) Teaching in the morning with two different classes then went out to a new cafe that has just been built down the road. Once ordering our drinks we were told that it was buy one get one free so worked out to be a good choice.
Had another class at 2:30 to 4:00pm then had dinner before heading over to the soccer fields were there was a girls team so I actually got to kick the ball and it seemed the soccer ball (football) liked me so much that I got knocked out to the ground when it hit me right in the face. Going down felt like it was in slow motion, then when lying on the field looking up at the faces staring over me was the funniest thing. My body was in the stage of not knowing whether it wanted to cry with pain or laugh because I couldn't feel half my face and it had gone droopy. I went with the laughing option and stood up to try and make my way over to the side bench. I sat with a cold water on my head and face trying to stop the swelling. Was a bit nervous to hop onto the motto as still felt a little light headed and didn't want to slide off. Got home safe. Excited for tomorrow is my birthday.
